The Tunisia Football Federation has announced two friendlies matches for the Tunisian national team, in October 2020 in preparation of the Africa Nations Cup Qualifiers in November.
The two friendlies line up next month for the Carthage Eagles will be the first competitive games since the resumption of sports activities were on hold for months due to the Covid19 pandemic.
The two friendlies line up by the Tunisia FA will be against North Africa counterparts Sudan and The Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The first will be on 10 October 2020 against the Sudanese team at Olympic Stadium Hammadi Al Aqrabi Brads, while the second match against the Super Eagles of Nigeria whom they last played in AFCON 2019 in Egypt will take place in Austria on October 13th 2020.
With two games played so far in 2021 AFCON Qualifiers, The Carthage Eagles are leading Group J which consist of Libya, Tanzania and Equatorial, Sudan is third in group C which consists of Ghana, South Africa and Sao Tome Principe while Nigeria Occupied the top Spot in Group L which also consist of Benin, Lesotho and Sierra Leone.
Tunisia was the first National team in Africa to resume training after the easing of Covid19 lockdown by the various Africa Government.
