[Nigeria] Lobi Stars Officials, Players Conduct Covid19 Test

AHEAD OF 2020/2021 SEASON: Lobi

In preparation for the upcoming 2020/2021 season the Players and officials of Lobi Stars of Markudi Yesterday at the State University Teaching Hospital Makurdi, Benue state capital, had their samples taken for COVID 19 test.

In a chat with the media, the vice-chairman chairman Mike Idoko said that, this is in line with the NCDC and LMC protocols in preparation for the resumption of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2020/2021 season. By this, Lobi Stars Fc became the first club in the Nigerian elite football league to comply with the directors.

Mr. Idoko stated that all players and officials including board and management staff of the club will undergo COVID 19 test which according to him is compulsory.

Mike Idoko commended the staff of the Isolation center at Benue State University Teaching Hospital for attending to the players despite the ongoing doctors strike.

He further said that the club has put behind the disappointment of last season, which Lobi Stars were denied a continental ticket in a controversial circumstances and are ready to challenge for all trophies this season.
