AshGold FC new coach Roberto Landi is expected to be in Ghana on 16th September and join the elephant boys in Obuasi. AshGold Communication Manager, Mr Eric Kakari Ghana- Kumasi Base Radio Station Kumasi FM told Kumasi FM.
The Italian gaffer returned to his country because of the widespread of the Coronavirus pandemic in February. He was due to join the Obuasi based club some months ago to prepare the team for CAF Confederations Cup but couldn’t land in Ghana because the airport was closed.
Mr Eric Kakari talking to Ghana- Kumasi Base Radio Station Kumasi FM made it clear the Italian manager will join AshGold in Obuasi on 16th September to start preparing the team for CAF Confederations Cup and domestic competitions if the President of the land allows football to comeback.
“Landi was supposed to be in Ghana last week but due to one or two reasons, he couldn’t but He will be in Ghana on 16th September.” Mr Eric Kakari said.
