[Africa] FIFA Ranking: See The Top 20 Africa Teams, Highest And Lowest Climbers

The latest FIFA ranking saw big teams like Senegal, Nigeria, Ghana and Egypt dropping down while Algeria, Morocco, Mali, Burkina Faso moved up.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are one of the biggest losers alongside Congo as they dropped three places down after defeat to Algeria and draw to Tunisia, The black Stars of Ghana also have their fare share of the latest ranking by moving two places down after losing to Mali and beating host of 2022 world cup, Qatar.

Algeria and Morocco are the highest climbers in Africa as they moved 5 and 4 places up.

Algeria beat the Super Eagles of Nigeria and drew with 2-2 with North America giant, Mexico while Morocco beat 2019 AFCON finalist, Senegal 3-1 before picking a draw with DR Congo during the FIFA window friendlies.

Bafana Bafana also dropped to number 72 on FIFA’s latest rankings after playing a 1-1 draw against Namibia on the 8th of October 2020, before losing 2-1 to Zambia on the 11th of October 2020.

Harambee Stars of Kenya are up three positions, from 106 to 103 in the latest FIFA rankings.

Harambee Starlets however have stagnated as they remain 137th globally.
