The Copper Queens midfielder Mary Mwakapila has left Zambia yesterday for Israel to join her new club, Hapoel Beer-Sheva
Mwakapila moves from Green Buffaloes on a two-year contract with Hapoel Beer-Sheva which she penned in August, 2020.
Over the years, Mwakapila has grown to be an influential figure in women football, and she stamped her authority in the game when she scored the opener in the Copper Queen’s 2-1 win over Cameroon in the Tokyo 2020 qualifiers to aid the country to a history Olympic place.
