Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, campaigners, Warri Wolves, will clash with former league and CAF Champions, Enyimba International of Aba, in a blockbuster Pre Season friendly game at the Delta State Polytechnic Stadium in Ozoro.
This is contained in a club statement signed by the club’s Chief Executive Officer, Etu Moses.
The statement says the Seasiders will use the warm up encounter to finetune some of the gains recorded in the club’s preparations for the 2020/2021 NPFL season.
It describes Enyimba – the Peoples’ Elephants – as a traditional and quality side in domestic football in Nigeria, noting their recent exploits across the two-legged match against Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso in the CAF Champions’ League.
The oil city club were recently involved heavily in the 2020 Governor Dapo Abiodun Pre Season Soccer Tournament in Ijebu-Ode.
The Seasiders have been in closed-door camping ever since that time.
