The Warriors have left for Cameroon to play in the 2021 African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals. The games will take place from 16 January to 7 February. The team arrives in Yaoundé at 1100hours on 14 January.
The trio of goalkeeper and captain Ariel Sibanda, defenders Vice-captain Peter Muduhwa and former national under 20 captains Andrew Mbeba of Highlanders FC are part of the Warriors squad representing the country in ChAN tournament to be played in Cameroon.
Zimbabwe is in Group A together with Burkina Faso, Mali, and hosts Cameroon.
The Warriors will play in the opening match of the tournament against Cameroon on 16 January at 1700hours West African Time (1800hours CAT).
Thomas Chideu replaced Tawanda Nyamandwe who tested positive for COVID-19.
